About Chicago Studio Club
Did you know Chicago Studio Club is not a studio and it’s not a club? It is 2 websites,
http://www.chicagostudioclub.net/ and http://chicagostudioclub.com/music/ ,
that are grounded in Chicago. The purpose of our websites is to provide information
on all aspects of LIVE MUSIC in Chicago by keeping the Chicago Studio Club (CSC) free
and unencumbered to all. No flashy, commercial ads demanding that you “BUY THIS or
BUY THAT” here. We are OPEN for the whole world to see, locally and globally,
everyone can view our websites.
Fred & Tracey, the founding survivors, have held the fort thus far and with the help of
only a few. Of course we can always use IT assistance, forum (monitors) help, volunteer
lists as well as project implementers and more! Drop us a line. Is there a club where
you would like to see and hear some of Chicago’s most deserving talents ? Who would
you like to hear play? If you think good music in a comfortable but unpretentious room
sounds like fun, let us know. If you want good music in a pretentious setting we can
help there as well.
Maybe you want a fire breather for your party, we know a few! Maybe you are an
equipment driver, a roadie or you need one, we have that covered too. Fill us in,
communication is imperative with us, always, stay in touch. You may be a LIVE MUSIC
fan and want to know who’s playing where? Check out our Google LIVE MUSIC calendar
on every page of both of our websites (it is that GIANT white calendar AT THE BOTTOM,
you can’t miss it!). Anyone can submit a LIVE MUSIC event listing to be advertised on our
Google LIVE MUSIC calendar. Whether you email us the submission, one of your band members,
a friend, a LIVE MUSIC fan, a family member, anyone, it’s easy, here’s how!
Also, many of you continue to ask us what you can do to show your appreciation.
If we’ve done some work that you like, gratuities are accepted via the Donate button
which is more like a “ tip jar “. This YELLOW button is at the top of EVERY page
on BOTH of our websites. Or you may simply feel that our work is positive and
beneficial to the community and want to show us a kindness, we will be most grateful .
