Chicago Horns w/Shirazette Tinnin
Shirazette Tinnin has a Bachelor’s degree in music industry studies and performance from Appalachian State University. She has a Masters (in jazz studies) degree from NIU. She is a member of the graduate-level Liberace Jazztet. Shirazette had a student internship in 2002 at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops Orchestra and Quad Recording Studios. Shirazette has performed with a number of major artists, including Arturo Sandoval, Slide Hampton, Chris Vadala, and Melva Houston and Shirazette was a counselor and instructor at the 2006 NIU Jazz Camp.
